Awesome Diaper/Pull Ups Deal at Publix!

This post contains affiliate links, please see disclosure page.
Yes! Can you say Super Awesome Mega Score! That's right, I just bought 6 packs of Huggies Snug and Dry Diapers size 4 and 5, and ONLY paid $9.11 total, after tax! Sounds amazing right?! That is the power of couponing, my friends. A lot of times I miss out on all the good couponing deals, because I don't have access to tons of newspapers (that's where you find all the coupons). So, I am always looking for the deals, where the coupons are all printable! That's exactly what this awesome diaper deal is. Virtually anyone with a printer and 3 phone numbers (or access to multiple computers) can do this deal. Couponing is a big deal these days and a lot of momma's take it to the extreme, all the time-Even reselling their hauls (that's what the call them-a little couponing lingo, for ya!) to other people. Most of the time, that's what I do. Buy items from other couponers, it's still a lot less than paying retail for it, even if it's a bogo, your local "stockpiler" (that's what the people who buy up everything are called-more lingo!) can probably offer you a much better deal. I typically I buy my trash bags, dog food and diapers this way. Three things you really can't go too cheap on! Trash bags, cheap ones are no good, they rip and spill trash everywhere, not worth the headache of saving a few bucks. My dog has a sensitive stomach, so he has to have the expensive, grain-free stuff, that just so happens to cost an arm-and-a-leg! And diapers, well they are expensive and if you go too cheap on those, you will be up to your elbows in pooh.

So, here's the deal, get on facebook, look up a few couponing groups, like them, and they will let you know when the deals are coming. They will also give you the complete breakdown of the deals and link you to any coupons that are available for printing. You have to be quick with a lot of the printables, typically the manufacture will limit the total number of coupons they will let us print before making it unavailable. It really can save you a ton of money. Also, there are times when you can even get items for FREE or even get money back and the items free (they call these money-maker deals). If you haven't already done so, sign up for IBOTTA, you get $10.00 free when you sign up (it doesn't cost you anything to use this app), not only can you get cash back on your grocery purchases (from any store!) you can also get money back when you shop online, through the app. I love using IBOTTA when I buy Groupon's, I have seen the cash back on a Groupon be 40%, can you imagine the savings (you could get 40% back from IBOTTA, PLUS any coupon deal Groupon themselves had going on)! If you need help signing up, let me know!

Here are the two facebook groups I link into: (this will give you a place to start-these are FL groups)

Why it's important to chaperon, fieldtrips!

Our first field trip, and we did not get picked to be chaperon's-Ugh. Why is it important to be a chaperon on your child's fieldtrips, you say?! 1. Stranger Danger! A strange person will be in charge of a group of, undoubtedly 6-8, 7-year-old boys! And we all know how unruly little boys can be at that age. Plus, my son is not your typical Mancho boy, he's more on the sensitive side-A total M-path. I'd expect him to probably fall apart crying, rather than get in trouble for being mischievous. Can another parent deal with that? - While trying to keep her, two-eyes on 5 other boys!? I have little confidence in most parents' ability to, parent or babysit, for that matter. It's all in my head, right? I'll just keep repeating this all day, because now I won't be able to concentrate on anything else! 2. No Souvenirs! The kids can't bring anything on the field trip! Ya, I get that, who wants to be responsible for 200 kids and their junk? The

Box Tops for Education!

*this post does contain affiliate links, please visit disclosure page for more information* As I was packing my son's lunch for school one day, I noticed a little pink rectangle on the bottom of the Ziploc box, it said "Box Tops for Education". I've always kind of known about the program, but never really, completely understood how it worked or the importance of doing it. So, I did a little research, your welcome! What is Box Tops for Education? Box Tops for Education is an awesome program sponsored by hundreds of companies that offer a simple convenient way for families to help earn money for local schools! A typical box top is worth 10 cents to your school of choice. Schools can turn these box tops in for cash, to buy things the school needs; like new computers, playground equipment, books, anything! From time to time, you can even find bonus box tops that can be worth more than 10 cents! It's such a easy, simple way to help contribute to our schoo

A Real, Real Life Moment - Feeling Defeated

Everyone feels defeated in life from time-to-time. I know I do... My Current State of Mind 5/10/2018 @ 6am With so many things going on right now, sometimes I even forget to take a breath. For the last few years, it seems life has been kicking my behind. I don't feel like I want a whole lot out of life, just to be able to enjoy simple things, would be refreshing. I am mentally exhausted from this roller coaster ride. Too many downward spirals, not enough ups. I am trying, but perhaps not hard enough? I suppose there has to be some reason I keep ending up on the losing end of everything! I am feeling a little defeated if you couldn't already tell. It is so very hard to carry on day to day, being positive when inside your soul is just tired. Sometimes all I want to do is curl up in the bed and just cry for a while, just be alone, for time to just to stand still and give me just a few minutes of solitude to make sense of all the mess. I keep pushing forward, but c
