4 Reason's to Love being a Mom!

Don't get me wrong being a mom is hard work! But it is one of the most wonderful things in this world. I love my two littles more than anything!
Here are 4 reasons to Love being a Mom!
Reasons to love being a mom

  1. Unconditional Love! Oh, my goodness, the feeling of knowing those little faces will love me forever, no matter what silly thing I may do, no matter how silly I dance, no matter how much weight I gain, no matter how lousy I play PS4, or how bad I am at cooking! Guess what, they still love me. They love me when I forget to put on deodorant, even when I forget to bathe them for a few days! Eek! But I am their number 1, their back up, their Momma! And I am proud!

  2. Unlimited Kisses & Snuggles! Yes, now I know at some point they are not going to allow this, so I soak up as many as I can possibly handle now! There is nothing more comforting than a snuggle with my two angels. They are so warm, so full of love and life. They are amazing! My favorite place in the world, is snuggled up with the two of them, in our huge comfy bed!
  3. Nurturing and Guiding a part of myself! My baby girl is so full of curiosity and wonder. So full of sass and BOY, is she stubborn and strong willed-Just like momma! My beautiful son, is so loving, caring and cautious-Just like momma! Both, so smart, silly and funny. Both love to explore and push boundaries. So perfectly children, so perfectly a part of me. It is so fascinating to watch them grow, to watch them learn and find themselves.

  4. Creating a Legacy! I didn't have the best childhood. For that reason, I had never planned on having children of my own. It wasn't until I meet and married my husband that my mindset started to change. We were good together, full of love and life and wanted to share that with a sweet little baby. It was wonderful and scary all at the same time. I had no idea if I would be any good at being a mom. I was wrong! There is something about a chubby little baby face that transforms you, from the inside out. My little man, did that for me. I am the very best momma that I can be, and my two blessing deserve nothing less!

While there really is no complete guide to parenting, and nothing that can truly prepare you for motherhood, I have learned to trust my motherly instincts and things will work themselves out! I love being a momma so very much. I truly believe it is the single most important thing I will ever do in life. I enjoy every minute, the highs and the lows. I cherish every bittersweet-fleeting moment I can with them.

Why it's important to chaperon, fieldtrips!

Our first field trip, and we did not get picked to be chaperon's-Ugh. Why is it important to be a chaperon on your child's fieldtrips, you say?! 1. Stranger Danger! A strange person will be in charge of a group of, undoubtedly 6-8, 7-year-old boys! And we all know how unruly little boys can be at that age. Plus, my son is not your typical Mancho boy, he's more on the sensitive side-A total M-path. I'd expect him to probably fall apart crying, rather than get in trouble for being mischievous. Can another parent deal with that? - While trying to keep her, two-eyes on 5 other boys!? I have little confidence in most parents' ability to, parent or babysit, for that matter. It's all in my head, right? I'll just keep repeating this all day, because now I won't be able to concentrate on anything else! 2. No Souvenirs! The kids can't bring anything on the field trip! Ya, I get that, who wants to be responsible for 200 kids and their junk? The

Box Tops for Education!

*this post does contain affiliate links, please visit disclosure page for more information* As I was packing my son's lunch for school one day, I noticed a little pink rectangle on the bottom of the Ziploc box, it said "Box Tops for Education". I've always kind of known about the program, but never really, completely understood how it worked or the importance of doing it. So, I did a little research, your welcome! What is Box Tops for Education? Box Tops for Education is an awesome program sponsored by hundreds of companies that offer a simple convenient way for families to help earn money for local schools! A typical box top is worth 10 cents to your school of choice. Schools can turn these box tops in for cash, to buy things the school needs; like new computers, playground equipment, books, anything! From time to time, you can even find bonus box tops that can be worth more than 10 cents! It's such a easy, simple way to help contribute to our schoo

DIY - Frugal Portable Height Chart

One of my all-time favorite things to do is be creative. Unfortunately, with so much momming to do, it sometimes leaves very little time for mommy to get her creative juices flowing. So, anytime my little comes to me and wants to create something, I jump at the opportunity to squeeze in some creative time with my little! My two favorite things in the whole world! Over the weekend my son asked me if I would start measuring his height against the wall in our hallway. My first thought was Ya! that sounds like a cool idea, but then I started thinking, we are renters so we would lose the memories when we move. I immediately jumped on Pinterest to get some ideas of how to make a height chart for them, that would actually work for us. I even created a board with some of the cool ideas that I found! I really liked the height chart made of wood, but who has time and money for all that! I wanted to spend no money on this project, 1. because I don't have any to spend and 2. because I
